Again, today was all about my wifey! just too proud of her for words. im excited to see her doing so well. i know it sounds mooshy, but she inspires me to keep goin...okay enough moosh. Good night:)

Hi there...it is just me again..coming to bug you. :)
ReplyDeleteAt a party last weekend a VERY petite friend of mine who exercises about as much as me (but she is half my size) said that she eats 2000 calories a day to maintain her weight. I was floored...how was this possible that she could eat so much when she is so small!?!
So...since then...it has sorta been nagging at me.
Then, this past week or so I noticed something weird....I have only lost weight on the days after I increased my calories...which I thought was weird. I usually eat 1200-1300 or so a day. But...one day this week I did 1900 and another day 1700....and was down one pound after each of those days. I am doing a bit more exercise than normal this week, too...but still...seems odd about the calories.
I am thinking...more and more...that these articles makes sense. Food for thought, anyway:

My Basal Metabolic rate (according to fitday.com) is about 1620. (It used to be higher when I weighed more..when I weighed 253 it was 1900).
So....anyway...interesting stuff. I might post about this on my blog at some point...but till then, wanted to share with you. And...know that the spirit of my post is "helpful"....not "critical".
I am learning too....just live everyone else out here on this journey. And...if I can eat MORE and still lose weight..and even lose weight faster...I am all for that. !!!
