Today was a lot better than yesterday as far as enery goes. I felt a lot less tired, and that was nice. still no cravings or hunger pains...but i am excited to try some of that pasta i heard about today, Sherytaki...im sure i spelled it wrong! lol. nevertheless, i am excited to try it. i enjoyed my walk tonight, but it was still tough. i cant wait to get down to a weight where i can job a little. my feet are still sore, but im just pushing through it. not sure if its gout or what...i just hope it doesnt get worse anytime soon. i did a little lifting, but the weight felt pretty heavy..anywho, i am really low on my calories because im eating a different kind of chicken breast, and my wife bought fat free cottage cheese instead of the low fat type ive been having...the fat free has 80 cals per serving...and the low fat has 90 cals per serving..but the taste is better for sure...so im fine with a few extra calories...i really dont like being this low on the calories so ill try and increase it a little more tomorrow. Day 18....ready or not...here i come!!!:)

Yeah, today I was just drained! No energy!! Besides that, I did really well. No cravings or hunger pains...I guess i was too tired to be hungry:) And im not sure why i felt sick at dinner, but i did...even though it was a nice little change up to have an egg beater on my toast instead of cottage cheese. My walk went well too, but I dont want to increase the distance until the 2mile walk goes easier...it sucks because the weather is changing fast and i dont want to walk in the snow....good thing we have a treadmil...hopefully my fat ass doesnt break it! lol! Overall good day...just tired! GOOD NIGHT!

Today was good...no cravings or hunger pains. i think the water is helping. i am sore from lifting and low on energy, but nothing extreme. i think im doing pretty good being on such a low cal diet and not taking any stimulants like caffine...all natural! lol:) One negative is that im getting a little tired of what im having for dinner...i might need to switch it up a little bit...we'll see. Anywho, today wa good and im looking forward to tomorrow.

Today was great! It wasnt hard at all, and that maight be because of my increased water intake. im not sure. all i know is that i didnt have cravings or hunger pains, and my 1 mile walk was a lot easier than i thought it would be. my feet have been a little sore today, and like i mentioned in the video it might be my gout or just bad shoes...it could also be that im not use to walking so far...even with sore feet, my walk tonight was a lot better than last night...i mean i wasnt as sore tonight as i durning last nights walk...again, is it because of the water? Well i better make sure to keep the water intake up. Also, i lifted really light, earlier in the day, which felt nice...i noticed in my bench that my stamina is really low...each set took a lot out of me, regardless of the light weight. I just hope i can maintain my same strength as the weeks go on....WEEK 3...HERE WE GO!!:)

Today was pretty good...energy seemed a little on the low side, but nothing serious. I also had a few cravings for sweets...like cookies...damn you cookies!!!! We did go to Sixxler's and it was really nice...the steak was great...like i said in the video, the veggies would've been nice...but im sure the butter was really high calorie and fat...so no go on that. i just ate the steak. i had my apple slices after dinner and it was nice...i seemed full..not stuffed, just full. i was proud of myself for going on a walk this late. i felt like just being lazy on the couch, but i really want to get to where im doing 1 mile or so at least a day. anywho, good day. tomorrow marks the end of two weeks since i started. WOO HOO!!!!

Today was great! Went really well...i did have a small craving for my son's macaroni salad at dinner...it smelled great! Anyways, today was really nice....i can honestly say that this low cal diet is easier than i ever thought it would be.

Today was pretty easy..no cravings besides when I smelled those peanut butter cookies at dinner time...and even then it wasnt a big deal. the meals are still really good, and they still seem to fill me up enough to satisfy any hunger i may have at the time...i went on a walk with Porter in the stroller..and it felt good..my legs were buring but it felt good. my goal will be 1/2 a mile tomorrow night...the fall air feels great right now..not too cold...YET! LOL! My lifts were really light, but i surely felt worn out by the end...not sure why my abs had that sharp pain. but hopefully it doesnt happen every time i do some situps...i plan on doing them 3 times a week....overall, today was good. ON TO THE NEXT DAY!!!:)
Nice Little Breakfast - 092409
It's not much, but this meal is actually really good. The cottage cheese is something I've had to acquire a taste for, but now i really do like it. The low calorie wheat bread is really, really thin,,,but it does make for good toast.and of course the salsa adds a nice flavor...you could probably substitute it with hot sauce...you know what would be a good topping, a big juicy red slice of fresh tomato..mmmm!

Today went pretty good..i will admit that i was a little bummed out from the scale, i weighed on it a few hours later and i was a lot lighter...so i might have a bad scale! i have a solution though. anyways, besides that things went well. i did feel really hungry towards dinner, but i was just hungry...i wasnt craving anything but what i had planned for dinner...although, like i mentioned in the video, braxton had a cookie after his dinner, and man did it look good! i didnt smell it, because i knew i would want it!!! not being weak though...im just saying that cookies are yummy!:) also, as you can see my workout for today was really light! im really nervous about doing too much at this point....so one exercise and a few minutes of cardio are probably all i'll do for the next month or so...we'll see. all in all, today was pretty good. i cant believe this is day ten! feels like i started doing this like a day ago. lol. C'MON DAY 200!!

Seriously, i mean i feel really full!!! Its crazy! anyways, today was good, and im excited to face tomorrow...whatever the real date is! lol! ALSO! I think im going to start working out a little bit starting tomorrow...maybe just a few weight lifts...very light. we'll see.

Today was a great day! The diet seems to be getting a little easier to manage, and my cravings were really low today..in fact i dont think i craved anything in particular...just hungry by my dinner...which is to be expected. The highlight of the day had to be the good news on the weight scale...good news that im not over 400lbs. I am really surprised that i am weighing in at 391lbs...thats a whole lot, but a lot less than i had thought. Im stoked too because now i can weigh in every few days and see how im doing. the cool thing too is that the scale was on clearance at Target for $20.00...that sure beats the price I was going to pay for a 500lbs capacity one...the cheapest one i found online was $80.00 plus shipping! It always feels good to get a good deal! Anyways, great day, and Im happy to be doing so well:) Come on Day 9!! NOTE::: O was totally off on the date...this was actually the 21st!!! not the 20th!!! stupid me:(

I like having veggies with dinner since you can have a lot, and still be low on cals..it helped to add some hot sauce to the veggies..it was a nice twist on what can often be boring veggies. lol. At looks like I'm just having a drink and going to bed..No worries though, I'm still excited for what I'm doing. ALSO! FRIDAY NOTHING!!! I kicked this Friday in the ass! I thought it was going to be so hard but it was the easiest day so far...so far! lol. i hope it gets even easier than this. Really though, I am just super stoked that today was as easy as it was...Now if tomorrow can only go this good. Like I stated in the video, the family is going to sizzler for dinner tomorrow night..ive got a game plan to just eat at the salad bar once, loading up on veggies and fruit. Im also going to take some apples with me to have afterwards....not sure what the family is doing after dinner, so i dont want to get stuck somewhere with nothing but bad stuff to eat....Again, I just cant say enough about how well today went. I had a few cravings, but nothing major, not like yesterday...also on the bad side..my stomach aches after every meal..and tonight was no exception. I hope that stops soon.

Word for the day...CRAVINGS!! Man they were killing me today! That and the thoughts of quitting...they go hand and hand. I just kept telling myself that I'm strong enough to see this through. Yeah it sucks,,and my gut is hurting, and my energy is low, but my desire to make it all the way to day 200 will not let me fail. I think that I will have a fatty meal or two on Halloween..but I dont know yet. Maybe I can make it to Thanksgiving! That would be awesome. Halloween would be awes too though...That's like 44-45 days away still. I still am really excited to get my new weight scale! Then I can see how well I'm doing. I just think about how great i will look and feel later, and it helps to fight against the cravings...even though they suck hardcore! ALSO! I cant watch shows with people eating...I watched a short clip online of Dan the Laptop man and Big Budah eating at Rodizio's...and all i could think about was how good that meat and fatty food looked....it was tough...so no more doing that! No more food channel!!!:) ALSO! I am a little nervous for tomorrow, being that its Friday and my wife is off work..its usually our date night and we always go out and eat...i dont know what we'll do tomorrow, but if we go out....i'll have to be stronger than ever to resist the fat!!!

Yes, the cravings finally hit me..three days later! LOL! That's okay, I was able to stay focused and not give in. I'm proud of myself, this is day 3 with no more than 500 calories all day! My mother in law gave me her input on it all, and she thinks it's not a good idea..I want to prove her wrong...that this is a good idea, as tough as it is, and that i can do it. One thing though, is that i dont think that yogurt is a very good meal alone in the morning...i would rather have egg beaters and salsa and toast..its only 20 calories more than the yogurt, but mentally it felt like 150 calories more!!! I think I'll have that in the morning. Also! I'm excited to order my new 500 lbs max capacity scale on Monday....WOO HOO!! Now I'll be able to monitor how my weight loss is going...on a daily basis.

I feel pretty good, considering I've cut my calories so much. I was hungry around my last meal 2, but nothing i felt like i couldn't control. If it's this easy...my next 200 days should be easier than I thought....yeah right! LOL! I'm just waiting for it to get tougher...we'll see. I dont have a scale yet, so I'm really anxious to get one, so I can start measuring that aspect of my progress. I should have a new scale within the next 3 weeks....man that seems like forever!

Day 1 - 091409



Today is the first day of my 200 days of weight loss! I've never set a goal like this!!! I have lots of reasons why I will succeed...and me wanting to eat unhealthy food is my only reason for failure....and that reason alone is not enticing enough for me to want to quit. Do I know what to expect at the end of this chapter of my life? Not at all!!! But I know I'll be better as a person when that last day gets here....here's to April 1st, 2010!
