  1. Hi! I am still freaked out about your low protein and low calories...and how much muscle you must be losing along with the fat.....but, you already explained all that so I'll just give it a rest. (but I do wish you were getting at least 16 oz lean protein a day..and some more veggies......pleading...)

My question for you is what supplements you are taking daily? I am sure you mentioned this somewhere before, but I cannot find it.

Your weight loss is looking good...on the scale....! Just be careful about losing muscle, tho. If you have a way to weigh on a body composition scale, that information might be useful to you. (the more muscle you retain, the more calories you burn each day and the faster the fat will get burned up)

356 is certainly WAY better than 391, tho...regardless. I admire your perserverance!!

  2. Thanks for popping over to my blog. I'm a mother...so my worrying is just a condition I have. :)

How many ounces is the chicken breast you eat?

The deal with muscle is that unless you eat around 70% of your lean body weight in grams of protein each day....you WILL lose muscle tissue along with fat. So, if your lean muscle weight is...say....200 pounds...that means you need to eat 140 grams of protein a day to ensure you do not lose muscle. I'm guessing you are not getting anywhere near that much.....so some of what you are losing is muscle.

If you added another meal that was just 8 oz of straight lean protein (you can add veggies, too, if you wanted)....it would not slow down your weight loss (it would likely speed it up) and it would help you retain more muscle as you lose.

Your metabolism (how many calories it takes to be you for the day) goes down as muscle goes down....then weight loss will slower. You want your metabolism revving high!

Ok....lecture over. LOL I just want to make sure that this is the last time you ever have to diet...and that you can maintain all the muscle you have now.
